Chadwicks Masterclass - Market Insights
10 November 2026, 4pm - 5pm, Webinar
Online
The red box has been opened, the headlines have landed, and the speculation is over. Now comes the question that matters most: what does it actually mean for you, your family and your business?
Join Radi and James and economist Dr James Watson, from the UEA, for an hour of clear, practical answers, without the jargon.
Wednesday 28 October brought the first Budget from Chancellor John Healey, and he had very little room to manoeuvre. With fiscal headroom of around £13 billion and borrowing costs stubbornly high, every decision came with a trade-off. Each year our post-Budget webinar cuts through the noise to explain what has really changed, and this year is no exception.
In mid-October we asked where the Chancellor might look for money. In Autumn Budget 2026: which taxes do the experts say could be reformed?, Alex Meadowcroft weighed up the options for Capital Gains Tax, Inheritance Tax, pensions and property.
Now we know the answers. We’ll pick up where we left off: what was announced, what was left alone, and what you might want to do next.
We look at the fiscal backdrop shaping the Chancellor’s choices, the Office for Budget Responsibility’s (OBR) latest projections, and the wider implications for markets, taxation, and long-term financial planning. Expect:
Radostina Dencheva, Associate Director. Radi co-hosted our pre-Budget webinar in October, where she showed how the Inheritance Tax changes could play out for real families. She’ll return to explain what the Budget means for your planning.
James Bacon, Associate Director. James also co-hosted our pre-Budget session. He works closely with business owners and private clients on tax-efficient planning, and he’ll turn the announcements into practical next steps.
Special guest: Dr James Watson, macroeconomist. Dr Watson steps back from the detail to look at the wider economy. Drawing on the OBR’s Economic and Fiscal Outlook, published alongside the Budget on 28th October, he’ll explain what the latest forecasts for growth, inflation and borrowing are really telling us, and what they could mean for markets and interest rates.
So on Tuesday 10th November at 4pm, grab a tea or coffee and join us!
