2022 Masterclasses
Chadwicks Masterclasses have been running regularly since 2012. They have developed over time but our aim has been consistent – that you enjoy the sessions, meet like-minded people and discover something new, interesting and useful.
The Brighter Future Series
Our Spring/summer 2022 Masterclasses see a return to face-to-face sessions in the UEA Norwich Business School's Thomas Paine building. This series sees us team up with experts from the Sounding Board and the UEA to look at key issues facing business leaders as we emerge from the pandemic.
The Sounding Board is a not-for-profit business advice service that helps business leaders make better decisions. You can read more about it here
Unlike a virtual event, numbers for these sessions are limited. We are keen to keep the sessions free of charge - in return could you endeavour to attend if you sign up, or at least let us know if you can't make it so your place can be given to someone else?
Disrupt Your Business - Before Someone Else Does!
May 26th at 8.00 am - 10.30am
Traditional business thinking was about creating something then ruthlessly focusing on efficiency (think typical US cooperation making fake cheese). But what happens when you are really good at something the world no longer wants? Do you deny the future? Do you change reluctantly? Or do you lead change creating advantage, becoming difficult to imitate and building value into your business? We will look into the future, think about drivers of business creation (and business destruction) and changing our strategic thinking (good news, strategy is not a plan).
Speakers:
Dr Kevan Williams Associate Professor of Strategy, UEA
Dr Fahri Karakas Associate Professor in Business & Leadership, UEA
