Value Acceleration Programme

18 November 2026, 8.30 am - 5.00 pm, In person

The Enterprise Centre, UEA, Norwich NR4 7TJ

Value Acceleration Programme

A two-day programme designed to help you build a calmer, more resilient and more valuable business.

An executive programme delivered by Chadwicks in partnership with Norwich Business School.

Most business owners and senior managers reach a point where the day-to-day noise makes strategic progress difficult. Decisions are made reactively, earnings feel unpredictable, and the business leans too heavily on a few key people. Growth becomes harder, not for lack of ambition, but because the underlying structure isn’t designed for value.

The Value Acceleration Programme gives you the space, the tools and a practical framework to change that.

Who the programme is for

  • Business owners who feel they’ve hit a ceiling
  • Directors and senior managers who want greater influence and strategic capability
  • Leaders who want to reduce dependence on themselves or others
  • Businesses preparing for succession, future investment, or simply a stronger operational footing

No exit intention is required. The focus is value, resilience and leadership, not transaction planning.

Value acceleration, not growth acceleration

Most “business growth” advice points owners towards more revenue, more headcount and more activity. This programme takes a different line.

Value acceleration is about strengthening what already exists, including earnings quality, leadership depth, innovation culture and governance. The result is a business that’s more predictable, more resilient and easier to run.

The five pillars

Across two days, you’ll work on the five things that determine how valuable, resilient and easy to run a business really is:

  • Quality of Earnings
  • Owner Dependence
  • Strength of the Management Team
  • Innovation Culture
  • Governance & Decision-Making

Each pillar is applied directly to your own business through small-group breakouts and practical exercises, using your business as the case study.

What you’ll leave with

A practical three-year strategic runway tailored to your business, with a clearer view of your future direction and leadership priorities, including:

  • A clear understanding of where value is created, and where it leaks
  • A practical plan to strengthen earnings quality
  • A pathway to reduce owner or key-person dependence
  • A capability map for your leadership team
  • A governance structure that supports better decisions
  • A calmer, more resilient vision of what your business can look like

And it doesn’t end there

You’ll be invited to join The Sounding Board, an ongoing peer network for business owners facing similar challenges. Relationships and discussion carry on after the programme.

Who is leading it?

Richard Ross MBA MCSI, Chartered Wealth Manager, Chartered Financial Planner
Specialist in strategy, succession and value creation for owner-managed businesses.

He’s joined by guest contributors: experts in leadership, corporate finance and law, and founders who have successfully scaled and transitioned their businesses.
