Alex Meadowcroft

As a Trainee Wealth Manager, I work as part of the advice team to formulate comprehensive financial plans for clients, covering investment management, income structuring, and tax efficiency. I bring over four years of experience in the financial services sector, having first been introduced to Chadwicks back in 2016 through a work experience placement during my sixth form studies. I officially joined the firm in August 2025 after completing a first‑class honours degree in Economics at Keele University.

During my studies, I developed a particular interest in the impact of investor behaviour on returns, and how a relationship with a financial adviser can act as an important intermediary in the decision‑making process,  helping to prevent irrational choices and ultimately improving long‑term investment outcomes.

Outside of work, I enjoy winter sports, playing guitar, and taking the family dog for long weekend walks.

My special interests are in estate planning, as I believe it is one of the areas where financial advisers can provide the greatest value. With an ageing population and increasingly tighter government rules around inheritance tax, estate planning is becoming ever more important.
