Our news
Associate Director
I spend a lot of time thinking about how we communicate who we are, not just what we do. In financial planning and wealth management, trust isn’t built through slogans or polished brochures. It’s built through people. Their judgment. Their integrity. Their commitment to doing things properly, even when it takes time.
It’s one of the clearest signals of the conscientious, client‑centred culture we’ve built, and continue to build, within our team.
The process is intentionally meticulous. Financial planners and wealth managers must complete a sequence of advanced exams, case‑study assessments, and ethical requirements.
When potential or future colleagues ask what it takes to become Chartered, we’re always honest: it’s typically a (minimum) five‑year journey.
Not five years of ticking boxes, but five years of:
Our newest team member, Alex Meadowcroft, joined us in August 2025. Having already achieved a BA (Hons) Economics (First Class), a Certificate in Paraplanning (Level 4) and a Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (Level 4), he has now completed his Level 6 qualifications, passing:
All are accredited by the CII (Chartered Insurance Institute). Having met all the qualification requirements, Alex is now working alongside our Chartered advisers, building the experience he needs to apply for full Chartered status in September. We’re delighted by the commitment he has shown to his development and the hard work that has brought him to this point.
Qualifications are not just credentials. They are part of the story we tell about who we are. Operating in a world where trust is everything, these principles are not optional. They are fundamental to the service we offer and the reputation we protect.
We’re proud of Alex, proud of the team, and proud of the standards we uphold together.
