As succession planning rises rapidly up the agenda for business owners across the East of England, we are proud to share that we have achieved a double national award win, recognising the strength, sustainability, and long‑term focus of our financial planning approach.

We have been named one of Citywire’s New Model Adviser  Top 100 financial planning firms in the UK for the sixth consecutive year, and we are delighted to have received the East of England Regional Award for the fourth time in five years. These awards are based on independent assessment metrics developed by AKG, (a specialist financial services rating agency) known for its rigorous analysis of financial strength, governance, and long‑term sustainability.

Succession planning pressures intensify across the region

Across Norfolk, Suffolk, and Cambridgeshire, succession planning is becoming a strategic priority for a growing number of business owners. Many are approaching retirement age with significant value tied up in their companies, while rising acquisition activity, regulatory complexity, and evolving family dynamics are prompting earlier and more structured exit planning.

For many owners, the question is no longer if they should plan, but how soon.

We have supported business owners with these decisions since 1996, helping them prepare for sales, management buyouts, family transitions, and post‑exit wealth management. Our (small by design) boutique size, independence, maintained at a time when many firms are being absorbed into national groups, allows us to offer continuity of advisers and a personalised approach to complex, multi‑year planning.

A 30‑Year commitment to Business Owners

As we enter our 30th year, we have been reflecting on the work we’ve done with our Clients. Over three decades, we have supported people through some of the most significant financial decisions they will ever make, often working with multiple generations of the same family.

CEO Richard Ross said:

“We’re seeing more business owners than ever looking for structured, early‑stage succession planning. Many have spent decades building their companies and want to ensure the transition, whether to family, employees, or a buyer,  is handled with care.

Our 30‑year history in Norwich means we’ve supported multiple generations through these decisions, and remaining independent allows us to stay close to our clients.”

Collaboration across the professional community

Our work is strengthened by the collaborative relationships we hold with peers across the legal, accounting, and corporate finance communities. These partnerships play a vital role in delivering the best outcomes for clients, particularly when navigating the complexities of business exits and intergenerational planning.

Thank you to our clients, partners, and colleagues for your continued support.
