Life 2.0: Your Next Act
You no longer need to work - what happens next?
The shift to a new phase of life can be a difficult transition for anyone but it can be unexpectedly tough for business owners.
Who'd have thought selling a business could be so trying? It's great that someone has not only recognised your hard work but is prepared to pay you for it; the chance of a new beginning can be exciting and invigorating. But somehow you can't get away from those feelings of anti-climax and an acute sense of loss of purpose and identity.
Our session will look at issues around preparing for life after work with a focus on the particular challenges facing exiting business owners. Suddenly finding your bank balance has more zeros than you’d ever expected to see can be overwhelming. By working with people who have sold their business, inherited a large sum, or simply built value in their retirement assets, Chadwicks have developed an approach that makes sense of amounts that have the potential to change not just your life but those of generations to come.
We’ll start with some investment theory and how we at Chadwicks combine this with our behavioural expertise to create multigenerational solutions that mean you can stop losing sleep over money and start concentrating on the important things in life.
