Business Insight:

All you have ever wanted to know about business succession but were afraid to ask!

'The lesson is that, No. 1, this management has to be at the highest class possible. No. 2, they have to have a succession plan.' Al-Waleed bin Talal

For most owners, selling their business represents a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to realise the value of a lifetime's work. Join us for our November Masterclass where we’ll be discussing succession planning and structuring sales and acquisitions with industry insiders.

Discussions will include:

  • Who will buy my business?
  • Building a business someone will want
  • Maximising sale value
  • Business valuation techniques
  • Tax efficient extraction
  • Funding options and deal structures

The session will be introduced by Richard Ross who will revsit the importance of differentiation and the value of building a strong management team. We are delighted to be joined by Mark GarnerMark is a corporate finance professional who has been lead adviser on around 250 deals. Unusually he has also acquired, developed and sold on businesses in his own right so he speaks from first hand experience. The session will be rounded off by Simon Lubbock, Director of Natwest Commercial Banking, who will give an over view of what they look for when financing a deal as well as exploring what finance opportunities are availiable.

The Masterclass will last 2 hours with questions.  Refreshments will be available.
