Diversity - beyond tokenism
Most of us understand the need to embrace diversity in the workplace but how do we turn ‘the right thing to do’ into a clear business advantage?
With increasing emphasis on inclusion there is a danger of the real value to be gained through diversity becoming lost in a tick-box exercise.
This session looks at how the different experiences and attitudes of a cognitively diverse team can create real benefits for businesses, colleagues and wider stakeholders. It will consider different management styles and how these impact on the ability to realise the potential of a truly inclusive culture; looking to the extent they encourage the free flow of, perhaps, conflicting opinions and ideas.

Richard Ross has more than 20 years experience of advising growing companies. He is particularly interested in the way knowledge is shared and developed within businesses. Chadwicks were proud to be winners of the Knowledge Pioneers category in the 2018 Norfolk Business Awards
